Step 1: Unbox and Charge Your AI Pen

Start by unboxing your AI Pen and making sure all accessories are included — such as the USB charging cable, protective case, screen protector, and user guide.
To charge, connect the supplied USB cable to the pen’s charging port (found under the clip or on the side) and plug the other end into a USB power source like a wall adapter or computer. Charge it for about 1–2 hours until full. A complete charge ensures smooth operation and longer use time.

Step 2: Power On the AI Pen

Hold down the power button for a few seconds until you see a “Welcome” message on the screen. Once the device turns on, it’s ready to use.

Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi (Optional)

From the home screen, open Settings, then choose your Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
Note: The AI Pen works best on standard 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks and does not support 5G connections. Wi-Fi enables features like online search and AI assistance, while offline translation and scanning work without an internet connection.

Step 4: Scan Text with the AI Pen

Open the SmartAI app from the main menu — this is your main tool for scanning and using AI features.
Tap the scan button at the bottom left of the screen to start scanning mode. You can also switch to voice or keyboard input using the icons at the bottom of the screen.
Hold the pen like a regular writing pen with the scanning tip facing the text.
Place the tip on the page, press the side scan button, and glide smoothly across the line of printed text. The text will appear instantly on the screen and can also be read aloud if text-to-speech is turned on.
Tip: For best results, scan on a flat surface and move steadily without rushing.

Step 5: Ask Questions Using AI

To get instant answers, scan a question directly from a book or paper using the same scanning method. The built-in AI will analyze the text and display or read the answer.
If you prefer to speak, press the voice input button and ask your question aloud — ideal for personalized or follow-up questions.

Step 6: Record Voice Notes

Press the record button to capture audio notes — perfect for meetings, lectures, or reminders.
Press the button again to stop recording. You can replay your recordings directly on the pen or transfer them to another device.

Step 7: Explore More Features

• Text-to-Speech: Have scanned text read aloud — great for studying or accessibility.

• Music & Storage: Play music or store scanned files using the built-in Bluetooth and storage features.

• AI Credits: Each AI Pen includes 2,500 free AI uses for tasks like Q&A or translations. You can purchase more credits anytime.

Step 8: Power Off and Store

Press and hold the power button to shut down the pen when not in use.
Keep the pen in its case or another safe spot to protect the screen and scanning tip.

Troubleshooting

• Won’t Turn On: Charge the pen fully before use. If the issue continues, contact support at wikisell27@gmail.com

• Scanning Errors: Ensure the text is clear and flat, and move the pen smoothly.

• Wi-Fi Issues: Restart the pen and reconnect to Wi-Fi. Try a mobile hotspot if needed.
